Miyaka Chang Breaks records at the 2025 National High School Game
Not one… Not two… but three!

Not particularly tall, Miyaka Chang stands at 166cm, wishing that adding just the last bit of centimeters would give her the advantage she so yearned for.
Alas! That was never the factor what so many of us had envisioned. Instead, it was the time, effort, and determination that Miyaka poured into her training.
“I try to get better year after year, no matter how little it may appear.”
Of the three backstroke competitions that Miyaka participated in, she won them all while breaking records in each respective event. “I try to get better year after year, no matter how little it may appear. But as long as I am improving, I knew breaking the national record is never out of reach.” Such encouraging and wise words coming from a young athlete, understanding that the hardest competition one could face always comes down to one person — yourself.
Congratulations to Miyaka Chang! This wasn’t her first, and certainly won’t be her last.
